Who the Orthopedics Program Cares For
Why Choose Children’s Wisconsin for Orthopedic Care
Our focus is exclusively on growing kids and teens: Kids are not little adults. Our experts specialize in treating kids and teens through their growing years. We work with families to make treatment and care plans that consider the short- and long-term impact on growing bodies. We have specialized training to consider growth plates, specialized surgeries to save and preserve bones and joints and consideration of how injuries as a kid — when treated right — can allow for bone and joint health well into adulthood.
We use advanced equipment: Our state-of-the-art equipment helps ensure the best outcomes for our patients. We are one of only a few orthopedic programs in the United States that has an EOS scanner, which provides detailed, 3D images and limits radiation exposure.
We're dedicated to reducing radiation exposure: We know the importance of limiting radiation exposure whenever possible, so we use systems that expose kids to little or no radiation (X-rays).
Caring for kids across the state of Wisconsin: Our experts provide care across the state of Wisconsin for a variety of conditions, making it convenient to find care close to your home. We're the only Level 1 Children's Surgery Center (highest level possible) in the state. We have superior orthopedic outcomes and we offer a variety of surgical options for various conditions.
